Biography

Ing. Augustine Milku is with so many years of industrial experience and a researcher as well who is enthusiastic in carrying out applied research. His main objective is to contribute to engineering and scientific knowledge of which, the outcome of his research findings should have direct impact on the socio-economic development of the Upper East Region and the nation as a whole. Ing. Milku has twenty-five (25) years experience in the Mechanical Engineering industry (Aircraft and Automobile Maintenance Engineering) in addition to teaching and research experience. He holds an MSc in Engineering and Management and currently pursuing his PhD in Environmental Engineering Management. He is currently working on the modelling and evaluating of the contribution of motor vehicle exhaust emissions to air pollution in the city of Accra. He is a registered member and Professional Engineer of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (PE GhIE) who strive to promote and adhere to engineering standards and codes with due regards to workplace Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental awareness.
